Full Professor at Hahnemann Medical School (1973-1980) and Founder and first Chair of Hahnemann’s  Psy.D./J.D. program with Villanova Law School and Previously a full professor in a medical school and a distinguished visiting professor at three other medical schools and at one university for thirty-five years. 

Author or Editor and a Contributing Author to 31 professional books and over two-hundred articles published in professional journals in the US and abroad. 

A former editor of Journal of Marriage and Family Therapy and editorial board member of numerous American and foreign journals. 

Have guest lectured, presented workshops in over thirty countries. 

Have consulted to family and non-family businesses, profit and non-profit organizations, mental health and social agents and law firms in the US and abroad and  consultation to a ministry of defense  in such countries as Israel, Germany and Spain and to the U.S. Navy Department of Psychiatry on Treating Military Families.

Honored throughout her career with numerous awards including the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Distinguished Contribution to Applied Psychology Award, APA’s Award for International Advancement of Psychology in Practice, Distinguished Service and Outstanding Contribution Award by the American Board of Professional Psychology, the Outstanding Achievement and Accomplishment in Media and Professional Psychology by the Div. of Media Psychology of the APA, and many others. 

Dr. Kaslow has been on editorial board or consulting editor to more than twenty journals. She has authored or edited over thirty books and written more than a hundred and fifty articles. She has been a series editor for Brunner/Mazel and John Wiley & Sons. A past president of two APA Divisions – Division 43 – Society of Couples and Family Psychology, and Division 46 – Media Psychology and Technology.  Served many years on APA Council and several Task Forces.
